Non troll suggestion, have you considered doing a boot camp or something? A few weeks or months of learning some fundamentals could make your ability to utilize random advice a lot stronger?

Yep, sounds about right for just starting out in coding. 😅 Much sympathy. If you keep going you will get past this stage. I encourage you to try something simpler than your main project, to get really comfortable with the basics. That has helped me many times.

in my experience, engineering is interesting because simple goals can take 24-48 hrs straight of dark trial and error and then *click* it works. once you’ve done that a few times in life you have a changed view of the world where you believe everything is possible
