at this point i just really want a good programmer to come in and fix all my code and pat me on the head and make everything okay cause im about to start crying from frustration here
ive hit the point where i got 90% of what i need to do finished, but the code is messy and weird and slow, and the last tiny 10% is confusing af and i cant get the motivation to do it cause its only the last bit and i just wanna be saved by an all powerful diety
i keep having the experience of having ppl be like 'im a programmer i can help' but then they dont know my version of python or pandas or whatever and so its no longer a fast/easy fix for them, they have to sit down and learn stuff, and then i feel bad asking
They might still be in a better position to help than you'd think; they probably wouldn't get to the point of crying out of frustration. Learning stuff isn't terrible, and it's okay to ask — if it looks too bad for them, it's a chance for them to learn to say no.
