I feel compulsively drawn to picking apart inconsistencies in neargroup worldviews. I think most trans discourse is glaringly inconsistent, and I really want to talk publicly about how it makes no sense, but I'm afraid this will be interpreted as me not supporting transitioning.

ime, people assume "your argument is incorrect" means "I disagree with your conclusion". I try something passive like "I agree with your conclusion, however your argument is flawed, and we shouldn't have flawed arguments because other side will use that to discredit us etc"

that's true of almost any group of this kind. without a single individual to lead the discussion, to be a consistent and ideally educated voice, you just get the arguments of the everyday people. well intentioned, but also abstract and clumsy.

BLM has the same issues. Where the central idea is supported by most, but as an organisation, or the intense end of the semi-organised supporter base, it is deeply toxic, immoral, racist and socialist.
