do women also get less interested in casual sex in general as they age? if so that could explain a decrease in bisexuality, since most bisexual women I know aren't particularly biromantic

No, I haven’t seen any evidence that women become less bisexual. They are more likely to be in monogamous relationships as they age though, meaning they will act on their bisexuality less often, but that doesn’t make them less bisexual.

I reckon they get more bisexual with age (at least that seems to be the case with my friend group). One theory of female flexibility is it is adaptive when there are shortages of men, they can pair bond with another woman to raise kids. Monogamous birds do this too.

I thought I was bi in my late teens/early twenties. I think I just wanted to be perceived as unique/thought being bi was cool or somethin. now I’m 26 and can recognize that I’m actually totally straight and never was attracted to women
