do women get less bisexual as they age? does this indicate a switch from sexuality used for social purposes to reproduction? something like, maybe age is associated with climbing the social hierarchy and no longer needing social sex, plus increased time limit fertility pressure?

No, I haven’t seen any evidence that women become less bisexual. They are more likely to be in monogamous relationships as they age though, meaning they will act on their bisexuality less often, but that doesn’t make them less bisexual.

Or they figure out their real desires better? I believe young women are more likely to be physical with someone they aren't all that attracted to -- which could be a man or a woman.

It wouldn't make any sense to say that they're "less" or "more" bisexual, unless you're defining bisexuality as a behavior rather than an orientation.

I reckon they get more bisexual with age (at least that seems to be the case with my friend group). One theory of female flexibility is it is adaptive when there are shortages of men, they can pair bond with another woman to raise kids. Monogamous birds do this too.

I thought I was bi in my late teens/early twenties. I think I just wanted to be perceived as unique/thought being bi was cool or somethin. now I’m 26 and can recognize that I’m actually totally straight and never was attracted to women
