What is this style of pattern called? I really want to buy fabric that has this pattern embroidered/woven into the fabric, *not* printed! and I want it lighter weight, like 200gsm, not upholstery 400gsm or whatever.
I can't figure out where to find it though.

ooh when i googled kilim it gave me stuff i thought wasn't it, but i didn't look too deep. I'll try it as a search term more!

Gotta check out pashmina shawls.. the test for authenticity is that it should easily pass through a ring.
Also 100s of other local weaves in India.. 1000s of years of heritage bout to get extinct in coming decade or so unless the trend for og heirloom picks up.
