I have one or two such acquaintances (not sure to what degree the second one is 'woke'). I can't imagine becoming friends with such people. And also it's hard to believe that any of my friends could become 'woke'.

I know a lot of people who frequently share or post this kind of content. And at least two coworkers that repeat ‘woke’ talking points. I can’t be certain about the degree to which they actually believe or are educated about said content.

Nationally we have less than 20% of our population driving the bus. The extremes from both sides are far fewer in number but much more vocal and persistent in pursuing their agendas.

Very good friend with a Métis trans woman who’s all about such things. Big Ibram X Kendi and Robin Diangelo fan, quotes Foucault and Franz Fanon a bunch. She wasn’t always woke and our friendship began long before all this. Also have plenty of classmates and colleagues of course.

I feel like I know people that a certain type of conservative would describe as "woke," but no one who matches the description you give here. (And I live in a very liberal, college town.)
