Even though you said "globally" I think many will default in their mind to their home country. This is the kind of thing in conversation where you ask the question and someone gives the wrong answer and then you repeat "globally" and they say "oh, globally, well..."

You're a century behind the people who actually say eat the rich, on this point. Global poverty is naturally one of their fascinations. The sentiment has always included the notion of egalitarian global policy. Anti-imperialism has always been intrinsic to the Left.

Probs a disproportionate amount of people in the top 10% say "eat the rich". But even if 1% of people in the bottom 90% vs 5% people in the top 10% say it, that's still more people from bottom 90%. So that's the main aspect of this poll imo... Surprised with the results here
