there kind of isn't? Like, social experiments happen for reasons, usually deep and powerful, and you can't just easily undo the underlying causes. maybe find a different outlet or something sure, but you can't make a child ungrow.

present is a response to the past—regression is senseless—it doesn’t solve the present problem—just aims to turn back the hands of time—people rarely even have in mind different answers to the past(if they had an alternative progression they wouldn’t be regressive)
