Is it probably ___ traumatic for an attractive older female teacher to have sex with a 14 year old boy student, than an attractive older male teacher to have sex with a 14 year old girl student?

Pretending that men and women have the same sexual outlooks, incentives, and consequences is naive.

Want to give the good feminist answer and say just as but, at least on average, that’s definitely not the case

I feel like it would be less if for no other reason than peer/society reaction. Given that if the boy tells his friends, he's much more likely to get approval for it, that would almost certainly result in a less traumatic experience.

Decades of study have confirmed that boys are just plain less traumatised by sexual violence. We don't know why. There's really no ethical way to study this.

My knee-jerk reaction was "the same", but I ended up voting "less" after I thought about it for a bit (ie the notion that it would be any different may be socially constructed, but social construction of trauma actually creates the trauma itself in an egregore kind of way).

This is a really interesting question
Is there a difference and if so why does it exist and should there be total sexual equality between the genders?

Traumatic to the teacher or the student? Because based on the answers compared to mine I think there is confusion to this point

I remember a girl in college (94) ask me, with a straight face, "doesnt everyone sleep with their teachers?"
