See, this is just a social gathering around a shared interest. It's not a workplace. There's no power imbalance. Most people don't want to come out and say it, but the de-facto rule is that you can't make a romantic advance anywhere that isn't a dating app.

I get that it would be easier for some people if there were a complete firewall between work and human sexuality. But when we put that into practice, it means that most places where adults meet are off limits. That leaves only dating apps, which have their own problems.
