I started out thinking the world was fundamentally reasonable, and would understand you if you were just persistently earnest enough, but recently it feels like I'm shifting to more "the world is insane, and you can only be earnest in safer, silo'd gardens of sane ppl"

I don't mean this as explicit beliefs or an explicit shift, I just caught a glimpse of my own frames in my peripheral vision and noticed it was more "truth must be limited to the chosen ones with the capacity to handle it" vibe than it had been previously

Interesting. What about default public interactions? I still find that genuine earnest optimism and kindness work best in public settings (eg when travelling or dealing with employees)

You mean, the Capacity to grasp (at more than perceptions?) ,and the lack thereof? should we dismiss so much because of it?or is that why there is so much of it? our own sea of dimissles. it can be a specialty you know, but not a duty.
