I started out thinking the world was fundamentally reasonable, and would understand you if you were just persistently earnest enough, but recently it feels like I'm shifting to more "the world is insane, and you can only be earnest in safer, silo'd gardens of sane ppl"

I don't mean this as explicit beliefs or an explicit shift, I just caught a glimpse of my own frames in my peripheral vision and noticed it was more "truth must be limited to the chosen ones with the capacity to handle it" vibe than it had been previously
