Why do they call it a 'river mouth'? Like, the river is just vomiting water at the ocean? Mouths eat way more than they vomit; they should call it an 'ocean mouth' because it's eating the river water.

Because the river is the smaller thing, like the body, and the mouth is where the smaller thing meets the bigger thing, like world or the ocean.
