Why in the ever loving heaven does bacon smell top all other smells? Very few other food smells trigger ravenous anger, but why? Other foods have similar basic components to them!

Apparently the smell of cooking bacon is the closest to the smell of cooking human. That's probably a coincidence...

I often thought we should have alarm clocks that didnt ring but produced a smell. Bacon was top of my list and coffee of course, house burning down anyone?

Is there any other animal/cut that could give off a better smell when cooked? Like maybe Elk belly? Mammoth belly? Brisket smells pretty damn good even if it doesn't quite compare.
