A lot of hours in my day are spent vaguely trying to do things and feeling guilty about not doing them, but feeling too tired to focus or have motivation, and then just sort of.... waiting for the day to end so I can sleep and hope I have a bit more energy the next day.

It might be due to repeated use of adderral. Amphetamines deplete your dopamine levels and result in reduced energy and motivation. Dr Huberman (podcast) talks about this. Might be worth trying recovery blend and staying off addys for a while

naw; i feel motivated during parts of the day i have natural energy. I also don't use adderall that often (2-3x a week, low doses), and started using it around a year ago. My fatigue started around a decade ago.

Every time I feel like I need to increase my energy. I remember a quote by Marcus Aurelius that says “ Think of yourself as dead. You have lived your life. Now take what’s left and live it properly”

Hey Aella! Biochemist here, look into supplementing with NAD+ which is what goes into our mitochondria actually supplying energy to our bodies. Sounds like you've zapped quite a few things physiologically. If you need some help and don't specifically want to go to M.D. I can try

It might be that ur doing too much of what you don't like (draining) and not enough of what you like (energizing). Or, you need a dream, a plan, and need to be on that plan. Or acupuncture, or the Untethered Soul process of letting go of energy blocks. I hope this can help!! 🎉
