It feels like people mostly started mispronouncing my name in the last two years or so; I never really had issues with it before! Idk wtf is going on. (It's pronounced AYYY-luh, not ay-ELL-uh)

it's phonetically weird
it's unusual in english to have a long vowel followed by 2 L's
(e.g. long o in "cola" vs short o in "collar")
so we try to make sense of it by breaking up the vowels; a+ella
