which is bad in fields where the subject of the work is *your mind*

the type of 'guruness', if u can even call it that, that feels good to me is one of complete curiosity and awe. "What's in your mind? So cool, so interesting. What's over there?" It's a learning together, having a friend on a journey with you who relies on *you* for the answers

Sometimes gurus use that power in ways that are harmless. You can't learn from someone if you think they have no credibility can you?

Feels like ‘bad guru’ energy is ‘I have the answers, let me enlighten you my child,’ and a ‘good guru’ would be more ‘I may be farther up the path with some wisdom to share but there is always more to learn, I’m still learning too’ and thus wouldn’t consider themselves a guru
