one issue i have is the anti-degeneracy ppl dont have a compassionate plan to offer people like me. I've lived in their world before and it was horrible for me, my mental health, my sense of fulfillment. It was active suffering! But their answer is "well *you* were the wrong one"

You should cut a deal. You accept that there's nothing wrong with chastity and monogamy, for those who want it. They accept that there's nothing wrong with promiscuity, for those who want it.

Here's the thing. A lot of us are totally okay if others want to be the exceptions. Exception away, revel in it even. It's the relentless push to insist that the exceptions are now the norm, and should be taught to kids and served by policy first, that is irritating.
