one issue i have is the anti-degeneracy ppl dont have a compassionate plan to offer people like me. I've lived in their world before and it was horrible for me, my mental health, my sense of fulfillment. It was active suffering! But their answer is "well *you* were the wrong one"

I feel like the experience might be similar to living with an obsessively clean person who gets angry all the time at you and judges you for not reaching their extreme level cleanliness. Not as bad but still - you don't care about how clean they are but they keep judging you.

For me it’s akin to kind people trying to help an old lady across the road, before actually asking if she wanted to cross the road in the first place or even if that side of the road is just not somewhere that she would ever want to be to do what she feels she needs to do for her
