I have a felt sense of who I am in terms of the sort of energy I want to put out into the world and the vibes I wanna share, but it doesn't collapse very neatly into anything resembling traditional gender roles.

Definitely not. I have a physical body with a sex, and a series of various societal expectations, limitations, and privileges laid upon me because of that sex, many of which chafe badly.

Dang, I need to change my response cuz I misinterpreted and voted wrong. I do not think I have a character or soul beyond my body, so it wouldn’t make sense for a gender to be there either.

I *am* my body. I can't conceptualize an idea of myself, or of the world, that is independent of my body. I am a woman because I can bear children. While who I am is highly specific to me as an individual, it is mediated thru a woman's body. And I am fine with that.

I struggle to even conceive of a *meaning* for gender beyond a weird social aesthetic shorthand as a clumsy stand-in for biological sex. What could having a "sense" of gender even mean beyond "I like the way people treat me based on their assumptions about me on the way I look" ?

I’ve been ridiculed for being feminine because my voice isn’t masculine and I don’t have a type A personality. However, I am 100% man & in my mind there is no doubt about it. That’s why I struggle with ppl that say they feel like one gender one day & another gender the next day.

Nope. Im a woman because I have a pussy and tits. Even when I wear a strapon, Im a woman at the end of the day cuz I have a woman's body. Theres nothing more to it than that, and Im sure if I had been born with a male body I'd acknowledge myself as a man just as obviously
