Won't touch it. I don't know enough about how that would play out. Going too monogamous might mean never meeting anyone, and the other side has its own issues for settling down

Would be interested to see a cross reference regarding culture. I said monogamous to both since downsides of polyamorousness are significant in current society. However, assuming a blank slate, I think society would be better if everyone - including my children- were polyamorous.
