Nay! Simply because companies are pretty much paper clip optimizers, that will gladly take the opportunity to exploit those workers even more. Until an equilibrium is reached where the companies profits are maximized while worker satisfaction is just over "I'm going to quit"

I get this is a gedankenexperiment but how could you use genetic manipulation to get someone to "love" something so specifically. I mean you could probably find a way to make them more altruistic in general. I don't think there is a "love Coca Cola" gene/s.

i think this is not good becayse it's unstable - you need everyone's happiness meters to be independent and somewhat diverse to keep society from devolving into a state where all people wholeheartedly pursue a small number of arbitrary and potentially socially destructive goals
