u get to love lord of the rings or game of thrones and be alone in it. and those are just the familiar titles- there's tons of other magnificent series that haven't been yet brought to the screen that lonely ppl are having righteous emotional moments with rn

That was me and #HarryPotter as a kid. I knew other kids read it, but they were teens and didn't want to admit to reading "kiddy shit".
