you'd think right wing people, who are mad at left wing ppl for trying to force them into specific values under the threat of exclusion, would be careful not to try to force sexually promiscuous people into their own specific values under threat of exclusion

what’s the most distasteful thing (to you) that you’re okay with others doing in your general vicinity (eg over “here” and relevant to you, rather than far away & abstract)

this is a bit hard; i seem to have super high disgust tolerance compared to my friends. distasteful to me usually maps onto 'i think this causes harm,' but I'm pretty far on the "that probably doesn't actually cause harm" side of things.

What do you think about the idea that most trauma is caused when someone is forced in a situation which they think is abnormal and to which they would have highly preferred what is normal in their culture? (e.g. smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/bra isn't traumatic bc it's culturally normal)

Abortion doesn’t cause harm? Am I reading that correctly? Let’s exclude talk of the “child/fetus/etc.” Are you familiar with the known correlation between abortion and depression/bi-polar onset/and institutionalization?
