you'd think right wing people, who are mad at left wing ppl for trying to force them into specific values under the threat of exclusion, would be careful not to try to force sexually promiscuous people into their own specific values under threat of exclusion

this isn't about following principles, this is about pretending you have principles as a cover your actual system, which is doing the exact same thing to the outgroup tribe as you complain they do to you

what’s the most distasteful thing (to you) that you’re okay with others doing in your general vicinity (eg over “here” and relevant to you, rather than far away & abstract)

this is a bit hard; i seem to have super high disgust tolerance compared to my friends. distasteful to me usually maps onto 'i think this causes harm,' but I'm pretty far on the "that probably doesn't actually cause harm" side of things.

You'd think left wing people, who claim they support human rights, wouldn't push killing human beings.

Why would you think that? That doesn't really jive with their MO nor vice versa.

That's not how it works. They make the rules, not you. When you try to make rules it's wrong. When they make the rules that is precisely how it should be.
