I respect people who believe banning abortion is saving the lives of babies. You're not evil, you're doing the best you can by your own worldview. However I don't share this belief, and am thankful to any tech that gives me control over my body, even in violation of govmt law.

I find this to be not quite fair? like, like, imagine that there's some other political party in your country that's trying really hard to legalize the ability for parents to kill their children up until the age of 4. and then when u opposed, they called u controlling

That is not a valid comparison, very slippery slope. No one is ever going to propose a constitutional right for parents to murder children up to the age of four. Abortion is about choice, plain and simple.

But that’s specifically not what’s happening. Analogizing to more extreme positions than anyone is actually taking doesn’t reveal anything about the beliefs of the other side.

Control doesn't always necessarily have to be a bad thing.
