One of the... insults? Critiques? that get to me the most are that my writing/thoughts are basic/unoriginal, even if they're packaged in a way that is still useful to people. This really destroys me, and these types of comments have probably cut down my total writing by like 80%

Why does it affect you like that? You wrote a How-to on escorting months back, in which you pointed out examples of basic/unoriginal escort ad copy and you even went so far as to link to your peers’ websites. Isn’t this like being able to dish but not take?

advertising is a verrrrry different medium from thought pieces, a huge percentage of my own sex advertising is very unoriginal and I don't give a shit cause it translates to money. I also linked peer websites so they could get free traffic.

My point basically is, I don’t understand how you can be hurt by others saying negative things about your writing when you’ve done that to others. Like does it make sense for people who go around offending others to get offended when someone says something about them?

I didn't say anythng negative, I didn't say it was bad. half the guide is describing what people do so people know what to copy. again, advertising is a completely different field, it had nothing to do with personal expression and originality is often bad. these aren't comparible

Most would interpret you linking peer websites as showing examples of unoriginal/bad ad copy. One of the websites you linked was a friend of mine, and she didn’t need the traffic. Rather, she was offended (as most would be) at the way in which you used her website as an example.
