Ok at this point I'm kinda afraid to say it but I don't really get why drag shows for kids are that bad

Obv it varies by show, but drag shows are usually a (albeit mild) form of sexual expression, like burlesque… and kids by definition cannot consent, so convincing a kid to go watch one is deeply murky territory that as a rule of thumb should be avoided.

hm maybe one of the reasons i'm confused about this is cause i'm under the impression that exposing kids to mild sexual expression is already more accepted/less controversial?

How does the third pic hurt the kid? I honestly don't get it. They touch a dude's butt and giggle and then...become a serial killer?

two of the three images I've seen shared on twitter today to show how bad drag is were... not drag
one was some "burlesque brunch" thing at a restaurant, wasn't "for kids" but didn't ban them, and the photo is of a woman, not a man in drag
the other was some weird art thing

But also what's the point? Given the near infinite activities someone can plan for a kids event why settle on a drag show that prominently displays "it's not gonna lick itself"? It feels like an agenda is being pushed

Yeah I mean this isn’t what animates the angry reactions, but it’s true that this stuff feels 100x more designed around parents’ signaling than around being fun for kids

Many, many reasons. First off, gender dysphoria is a mental illness, which means the children at the drag show are being sexually groomed by individual(s) suffering from a sex related pathology. …1/

This guy nailed it!!! Exposing children to sexuality in general is simply an attempt to groom them whether subconscious or consciously towards unwholesome decisions in life. And is more apt to lead to less stable, less coherent romantic relationships and set them up for abuse.
