There's a whole class of thinkers that seem to be doing poetry dressed up as ideas. This is chill, but it feels like people treat them like they're rigorously doing actual ideas and this confuses me. Its not rigorous to throw out a bold vibey equivalence and move on!

I was just thinking this about half an hour ago. People like creating narratives based on feelings they have. It just happens to be that the solution is to move toward their ideological end goal.
Basically "There's not enough religion." or "There's too many billionaires."
