Yeah this is true, but there's not a corresponding aggressive section of many other subsets. Or, I guess there is - some cis people get mad at me for including 'cis' as an option, but it's much less common given the % of cis people there are.
i think it’s true that trans people are disproportionately likely to be aggressively sticklerish about language but complaining about that as if it’s a property of trans people as a whole is gonna make many reasonable trans people feel attacked

I mean, I know the phenom you’re describing is real. It’s a combo of the more general “mad about my thing” and the lib culture specific “as a member of Group I speak for Group.”
