That line is freaking me out. Although I can see, mostly artificial but still extant, reasons for the correlations between economic left and right, I see no reason that all those conditions should more-or-less fit on a straight line.

Looks like an interaction btw sexual vs natural selection. See how high mortality conditions are clustered near origin Mental health is preferred by all in mating. This creates assortment. Where healthiest mate healthiest and second, second, etc. But at the bottom this 1/2
