I feel as though all my typing speed came from instant messaging on the computer, but then the best way to message friends became phone keyboard based and I didn't get as many opportunities to improve my typing speed. Did you just deliberately practice to improve?

I'm jealous. I type like 30-35 wpm despite having a job that requires typing all day for the past 17 years. Not sure if I just didn't learn the skill early enough or if my brain is really just that slow.

I hate how immutable things like this seem. I'll probably be stuck at ~70-90 forever.
