My guess is the brain turns out to be simpler than we expect and most of the magic is in the fabric of reality (various fields, etc)

dangerous bc it implies humans aren't fundamentally special?
Maybe evidence for not dangerous is humans tried to hold the belief "we aren't animals, animals and humans are fundamentally different" for most of our history but recently accepted it and it changed almost nothing

oh no, i don't think humans are fundamentally special; i mean it's dangerous in that i think it's already very easy for people to project things about themselves into the world; being like 'it's not my brain, im just reading true energy' gives a lot of leeway for destruction

like, a great example of 'no the magic isn't in our brains it's around us' ends up 'bad' is the leverage intention document

ah yeah, I get it now. I still think all the stuff is "in your brain" in that the brain is controlling / mediating it, I'm just talking about the mechanism for which it does that
But I see why the weak brain / strong fabric of reality view could lead to a lot of bad beliefs
