To clarify, the score you get here should be a representation of how *horrified society would be by your sexuality*. The scoring comes out of the average ratings of a bunch of people saying how tabbo/society-horrifying various sexual interests were.

If you're like "my less kinky friend got a higher score than me," there's a possibility this just means that your friend's kinks are just registering as more taboo in the eyes of society, if not you specifically. The full list of taboo ratings is here:

I scored pretty low but I assumed it was because my "kinks" are actually pretty normie/basic.

I think it's just some people have different perception of the answers, some answer with extremes while others answer with "somewhat" a lot more
