The big five test in general sort of implicitly claims to find the most important 5 psychological variances of humans. My question is whether they missed one big one (kinkiness/sexuality)

Ooooh I misunderstood your original tweet. I'm not sure how to think about this - there's lots of other types of variances that we don't organically want to include with psychological variance (like how picky an eater you are).

i assume kinkiness is also partially captured by openness; i think a *lot* of other factors are partially captured by one of the big five
That's what is so great about the Big Five: The categories are not assumed but discovered via principal component analysis. And the surprising thing: The higher components probably correspond to serotonin levels.
