A sleep test told me I got mild obstructive sleep apnea - lowest oxygen 89%, desaturation index 9.7, hypopnea index 5.8, total apneas 3, hypopneas 40. It's been kinda unclear how much cpap would help; has anybody else had mild results like these where cpap had noticeable benefit?

My wife was diagnosed with sleep apnea in 2019 and has been using a CPAP ever since. It took a few weeks to adjust to, but it has improved her sleep significantly and she no longer feels tired & drowsy throughout the day. She can really tell when she forgets to use it.

Those numbers are similar to what my BIL has. My sister tells me her sleep has improved dramatically since he has been using cpap. He says he notices it the most when he travels and doesn't bring it with him.

idk my scores but mouth taping is good for me and easy to experiment with. an oral appliance is even better but expensive (three digits iirc) and you have to get fitted and they’re very annoying to wear. worth it for me but idk for others
