Quite a few laws here in Japan which make something illegal but don't come with punishments or don't come with serious punishments or aren't actually enforced. Might seem silly, but maybe sometimes it's the way to go.

I feel like, if abortion was done just to get rid of child, while there were no potential negative health implications for said woman, it should be considered crime.

Answered "yes minor", but am pro-choice up to anywhere around 12-15 weeks and that answer only applies if a woman goes beyond that sort of timeframe and isn't in medical danger and gets a black market abortion (not that it makes much difference to poll %s)

If you believe the child is alive from conception, do you believe child support and gov’t assistance should be there from conception? If you’re going to call it a living thing, treat it like one. You can’t pick and choose when a child fits your bill
