hate to break it to you but the anti-woke stuff isn't turning out to be a shining beacon of principled reasonableness either

(to be clear i think on average anti-woke stuff is still significantly more reasonable than woke stuff)

mfw there is a cultural current that contains elements which annoy me and there is a cultural current which opposes it, but that also contains elements which annoy me

It’s not meant to be? Criticism of woke doesn’t need a label and people who criticise it aren’t in a camp together. Conservatives, libertarians and liberals can and do push back against wokeness, so of course not all the push back is always reasonable

"Wokeness" is overwhelmingly a good thing.
It's just trying to be a better person and help the world.
Occasionally a bit misguided.
"Anti-wokeness" is intentionally being a piece of shit.
So yea, it was never going to be a good thing.

Being anti-woke without being pro-liberalism just leads to different brands of authoritarianism.

It’s almost as if a liberal, capitalistic, open and free society fails to solidify into monolithic ideas & beliefs and instead shifts with time
