It's easy to get curious about someone's job, cause you haven't spent years with a small aching feeling that nobody has properly witnessed your job. Its harder to get curious about someone's deep emotional state; there you do have an ache, and it flares up in the shape of advice

Meanwhile, I’m just happy that I’ve left office dronery and found a job that provides me with a sense of meaning (new construction plumbing). Getting introspective about what ppl think about my job, I think it’s mostly overlooked. Plumbing is always just “there” to ppl I think
