I'm with you. I really don't see much that's all that hard here. I think it reveals a deep confusion about qualia vs cognition.

The problem is that it's even a real issue to begin with. This "hard problem" arises because some thinkers have an actual mystical conception of what consciousness really is.
You have serious scientists arguing for Panpsychism as a solution for the "hard problem"!
