You're suggesting that women who care that women and girls should be able to undress away from male people with a penis, or play sports in single sex teams or are alarmed by the cavalier halting of puberty in kids are just making 'excuses to justify an unexamined disgust reflex'?

its really hard, because I don't trust people to be aware of their disgust reflex and I don't trust trans people to chill out about this. My somewhat unsatisfying answer right now is to settle things on an individual basis. I don't think it's bad in principle to have boundaries

But why consider 'disgust' or even 'threat' as part of the equation? Why not start from the *current* premise that women and girls are allowed the peace of mind, dignity and convenience of a single sex changing room? Why bring 'disgust' into it?

So your starting point is that any male born person with a penis who declares themselves to be a woman should be able to undress in female communal changing rooms by default? And if a woman objects (without disgust) she can request for it to be designated strictly single sex?
