We are not a thought experiment. We are people. That is dehumanization in the first sentence.

That's an interpretation of the text I didn't intend. I was thinking broadly of a lot of different ways it's important to figure out out edge cases *before* the edge cases hit us.

You call us the words “thought experiment” in the first sentence. First you make it about listening to people who want us dead, then deny your own words when called out by a trans person. Classy.

you're like a Christian, picking out the specific words in the Bible to support your interpretation and ignoring everything else.
And these people don't want you dead, I haven't met a single person who wants trans people to die.

It was your words I quoted. Blocking because it’s obvious you’re not interested in being honest about what you wrote. Your not having met the people who want us dead does not justify your promotion of their ideologies.

There absolutely are people who want us dead, but you're not really responsible for that and they're not relevant here.
People need to relax a little. I doubt a single person has ever died from a substack post.

It's the *speed* with which the rationalist ideal disappears and the "I'm better than you because I unlike you am rational" begins that gets me
