This is right inasfar as it goes, but also pretty basic and doesn't say much that hasn't been said years ago by other rationalist bloggers like Scott Alexander, Zack Davis, Ozy Brennan, etc

Didn't mean it as a criticism just a remark, for people approaching it with a similar background to mine.

It's generally considered a good idea to only post stuff that hasn't been covered already unless you're a collection of ideas like a wiki, you don't care how profitable it is, or you don't care how original it is.
This section was new to me personally: "the narrative “you are a woman if you identify as one” is cruel". I'm glad I read this essay; it introduced me to some interesting thoughts I hadn't seen before.
