yea i don't have high aims, mostly wanna just look at my data real good. but ppl are saying python is broader, it seems maybe useful to also accidentally learn a more applicable skill? im so torn

unless you are looking to eventually build software and scale automated projects, R will get you up to speed much faster for the idiosyncratic nature of your projects (survey data, projections, any type of statistical analysis you can think of)
