If you could instantly (without fatigue) either have read 300 additional randomly selected top-recommended books from 1-3 categories of your choosing, or have exercised 900 additional hours (as though dispersed over the last year) in the type of exercise of your choosing:

Definitely takes longer than 3 hours to read a lot of books likely to show up in my random sample and I have sufficient inclination to exercise that this feels like an easy choice

Bec I don’t know if I could get effectively through 300 books but I do know I can always enhance my exercise ; I don’t know that I’d want 900 more hours exercise and don’t want overuse injuries (not guaranteed as with the “no fatigue “ assumption in reading ). 😊
Definitely exercise. I don't really enjoy it but it would instantly make me healthier and extend my life...during which time I could read many of those books myself, which I do enjoy. 😉

Assuming I want both eventually, that level of “banked fitness” could probably fuel a coast through 300 books better than 300 books of “banked learning” could power 900 hours of exercise.

300 books could get you half way to “superhuman”. Not sure about 900 hours of exercise.

I had to think about that. I value both highly. I eventually selected books.
