Hmm. You always could have worked at McDonald's or any other low wage service job. Millions (who wouldn't have an option of doing sex work even if they desired to) do just that!

I'm sure you've written on it before, but how did you enter the industry? Because it feels like ppl like you - young, attractive, decently educated - are in a different universe from the girls that have pimps and walk the streets. Like comparing a roughneck to a barback.

This is such an underrated take. I had a job delivering newspapers as a teenager. The mind numbing boringness felt like torture. How many people are suffering at their jobs every day who’d imagine sex work to be only 10% worse? Good luck getting sympathy for those.
