"Victim" is a largely illegible identity for men. I've been raped (by modern definitions; I'd get laughed out of a women's studies class in 1999) but there's no mechanism in place to remind me of my status (unlike Sex Criminal, for which we have a legalized lifelong apparatus)
I think maybe “raped by a man” might give better evidence about the thing I assume you are interested in. Being penetrated while raped probably sucks more for both genders.
I find the responses here very strange. People would seriously rather experience physical rape over being accused of something they know they didn't do?
I wonder how many people stop and think about the questions they are answering before selections a choice?
I’ve been raped. I’ve been falsely accused of protecting a rapist. Being raped has less mental and emotional trauma than being falsely accused of raping someone, for men. If you’re raped, the worst is no one believes you. If you’re falsely accused, you lose everything.
