ok having a sick daughter is a challenge especially bad because shes only like 1yo so you cant explain any of it to her she just feels like shit all of the sudden for no reason and has no way of knowing why, or if it will ever end what an awful experience for someone :c

once i was on a lot of LSD and while i was peaking, came down very suddenly with a bad flu. fwiw it was a fine experience; i didn't really know what was going on or if i should be worried, but time was very compressed and it just was my new reality now, nbd, not that awful

I relate to this. Pain is just sensation. It is not synonymous with suffering. Having said that, sick kids really suck, it's adaptive to practically "feel" your kids pain and helplessness and it hurts.
