schools should include a class called Truth Is Hard, where u get bombarded with examples of confused eyewitnesses, incorrect public outrages, studies that failed to replicate, super convincing arguments that fall apart with one additional fact u didn't expect, etc.

Or the fact that the closest thing to truth, the scientific method, is only the best guess with the evidence available. There is no objective truth as far as we can find.

IB student?
Everyone with expertise or even merely an interest wants *that* thing to be a bigger part of curricula. As I say below (from bretthall.org/critically-cre) . For my rant on this amidst 's take on the issue see here for just 2 mins (cued up) youtube.com/watch?v=CzgaO0

A school would be brave to do this. The students might start getting suspicious

I like “Objective Truth is Hard.” If one’s perception of something does not conform to what it actually is, then one is in error—no matter how convinced one is and certainly no matter how one feels about it. Many perceptions are distorted and people are often not aware of it.
