Combined with meditative practices, yes. Without those tools, maybe a 30% hit rate towards helping (and the other 60% doesn't hurt, but it's just fun and not useful).

Helpful at first, but at this point I think I’ve done too much acid and now it’s become harmful

I've done a fair share of mushrooms, LSD, 2c-I, and so on. Temporarily I get it, it's a whale of a mental vacation/exploration. As I've gotten older, our technological advancements in fields such as AI, molecular nanotechnology, nanobiology, genetic engineering, and so forth 1/x

Both. They don’t talk about it being heaven or hell for nothing. I'm shocked how well mushrooms have helped me recently with ocd symptoms and depression, but I've had LSD trips when I was younger that were very detrimental.

I’ve heard said the first trip rewires your brain such that you think differently thereafter. Would be interesting to have a guided experience.

...but i include the bad trips, the pure terror trips and even the occasions where i wound up in hospital, bleeding like a vampire's pantry from a head wound.
my first acid trip was at the age of 13 and it was a very, very bad one. i wouldn't change that for the world.

On the whole still helpful, but I tend to have hellscape trips and highly disturbing sensations more often than most. Looking forward to breaking through that one of these days. But I think I also have higher than average capability to work with it. & higher than average need to
